James McGrath

James McGrath came to web development through numbers and figures. Originally trained as a professional accountant, his work in this field set up a logical approach to problem solving that lent itself directly to the web-programming world.

James has over five years experience of hands-on designing, coding, and marketing for more than 100 web sites for the national and international marketplace. His primary focus is on creating beautiful, functional, standards-compliant and cross platform/browser-friendly web sites. Able to work as both a designer and developer, he understands the dynamics needed to establish a strong web presence while utilizing art and technology to create sites that rise above the web-clutter.

Dedicated to creating sites that are unique and navigate perfectly, James hand codes all his sites and has extensive experience with PHP, ASP, JavaScript, Flash, ActionScript and Access/MySQL databases and is skilled in the creation and deployment of audio and video for the web environment.

Educated at Bellevue Community College in Bellevue, WA and Newham Community College, London, UK, McGrath holds certificates in Web and Multimedia Design, Internet Applications Development, and a Higher National Certificate in Building Studies.
